Alaska car bill of sale: what to include
For buyers and sellers who want a written record of a private car sale in Alaska. We found no official Alaska bill of sale form for this on the Alaska DMV forms list.
An Alaska bill of sale does not transfer ownership, but the DMV says it is a good idea to have one. It should show the VIN and a description of the car, both printed names, the date of sale and both signatures. Keep a copy. It can help if the buyer gets parking tickets after the sale.
