Nevada bill of sale for a vehicle
For buyers and sellers who want a written record of a private car sale in Nevada.
A Nevada bill of sale can be made on form VP 104 from the DMV, but it does not replace the title. A bill of sale by itself is not proof of ownership, and for a newer car the seller must hand over the paper title. A bill of sale with a duplicate title application is not accepted.
